A few days ago in the United Kingdom, Banksy unofficially attended the Glastonbury Music Festival 2014 with the appearance of his “Sirens Of The Lambs” truck installation.
First seen in New York City during Better Out Than In, the artist’s one month residency in the city, the truck has been slightly modified by using a local Somerset farm truck for the installation, adding “25% more terror” according to Banksy himself.

Banksy’s Mural Vandalised In Park City

  • by

banksy park city vandalized

Sad days for Banksy’s fans, after “Girl With Umbrella” in New Orleans just a few days ago (here), another street art piece by the world famous British graffiti artist  has just been damaged in Park City, Utah.
Two stencils were the target of Vandals on New Year’s eve, successfully ruining one of the works. Spray paint is now covering the mural that depicted a young boy with a pink halo and angel wings kneeling to pray behind a spraycan of pink. The plexiglass covering over the image had been destroyed.
This series of stencils was painted back in 2010, around the time Banksy was in Park City for the Sundance Film Festival for of his movie, “Exit Through the Gift Shop. As of today, it’s currently unclear if the work can be restored.
Take a look at more images below and let us know your thoughts down in our comments section.

Banksy’s “Nola” Defaced in New Orleans

banksy nola defaced in new orleans by vandal

Yesterday in New Orleans, Banksy’s iconic street piece “Nola” or “Girl With Umbrella” wich was painted in 2008 on N. Rampart and Kerlerec was defaced by Vandals.
Exactly three years after the catastrophic Hurricane Katrina, Banksy showed up in New Orleans. The British artist left his mark around the city, providing stenciled commentary on the post-Katrina days. Sadly, most of the street pieces are gone by now, but several remain.

The plexiglass that protected “Nola” was destroyed and the piece was sprayed with Red enamel paint. Luckily for Banksy’s fans, the Vandals weren’t successful as the piece was cleaned and the red paint removed just a few hours after. “Girl With Umbrella” is saved.

More images are waiting for your click below and then let us know your thoughts on this incident.
